CSI 2025 Additional Event Announcement (2nd Notice)

1️⃣ Event Preparation Based on Completed Payments

The event is being prepared based on participants who have completed their payments. If you are still waiting for payment or have not made a payment yet, please complete it as soon as possible if you wish to participate.
⚠️ There are limited spots available, and late payments may result in the inability to receive accommodation and meals.

2️⃣ M&M Preliminary Round Time Change

There are a sufficient number of applicants for the competitions to operate smoothly. For the convenience of the participants, the M&M preliminary round, which was originally scheduled for Saturday morning, has been rescheduled to 4:00 PM.

✅ Multiple event registrations are allowed, but competing in multiple finals is not permitted.
✅ If a participant qualifies for multiple finals, they will automatically be placed in the higher-level final.
✅ If simultaneous registration is not possible, please submit separate applications for each category.

3️⃣ Improvisation Competition Format

Preliminary Round: Participants will perform three songs in the order of Medium → Slow → Fast. This format may change depending on circumstances.
Final Round: The spotlight format will be used.
- Typically, participants will be given two rounds of 8x16 or 8x8 spots, followed by an all-skate.
- Higher-levels may have two rounds of 8x12.
- As the improvisation category is flexible, the final format will be determined on-site based on the number of finalists.
- Since the competition will be accompanied by a live band, tempo may vary during the performance, and exact BPM information will not be provided.

4️⃣ Class Schedule Announcement

The class schedule has been published on the official website.

✅ Based on participant numbers, Balboa Intermediate/Advanced and Lindy Hop Beginner/Intermediate classes will be merged.
✅ Beginner dancers who find the classes challenging can choose alternative lessons from top instructors in Korea.
✅ Advanced classes require an audition for participation, but moving between classes is allowed.
⚠️ However, for smooth operation, entry will not be permitted 10 minutes after the start of class.

5️⃣ Meal Plan Information

The meal plan has been released.
If no meal preference was selected, it has been automatically assigned based on your mobile country code:
- 🇰🇷 Korean participants → Korean cuisine
- 🌍 International participants → International cuisine
Meals are prepared based on the registered number of participants, so only the assigned meal can be received.
Dining hall access will be managed via QR code scanning.
